The workshops and training at Rathna Center for Conscious Living are a collation of Dr G. L. Sampoorna’s experience over the past 40 years. Ranging from short 3-hour workshops to 10 day residential retreats, each program uses a multimodal approach to work at diverse levels and layers. Every workshop is experiential and life-changing, enabling participants to identify blocks and effectively release them so that they can organically progress to a state of harmony within.

The training programs equip those who are interested in carrying the work forward to get trained as practitioners and workshop leaders. Self-Forgiveness

Self-forgiveness can free us from our personal prison of guilt, shame and anger. To forgive ourselves, we first need to fully acknowledge our hurtful actions and mistakes, process the emotions around them and make amends where we can. This is a process of self-healing and growth which enables us to make things right within ourselves. It also frees us to choose differently in the future.

In this online workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn about self-forgiveness with Dr. G. L. Sampoorna and will be led through processes which will set you on the path. This is a three hour workshop offered on two consecutive days for 1.5 hours each.

The dialogue between the dominant and non-dominant sides of the body through movement, scribbling, writing and drawing, facilitates the mind-heart connection and allows feelings to surface and get processed in a healthy manner.

While the literate, dominant hand easily connects and keeps pace with your flow of thoughts, the non-dominant hand (which is unable to keep pace) gives up and connects with your inner feelings.

This phenomenal series consists of 5 powerful 3-hour workshops which bring your desires and emotions to the surface and allow you to process and learn from them safely.

Body Wisdom Workshop

The body and mind are two expressions of the same consciousness. They constantly communicate with and reflect each other. In this workshop, you re-learn to listen to the sensations of your own body – an art which we are naturally born with but rarely use. You learn to open your heart and welcome healing and change. You become friends with your own body.

Fluid Boundaries

Usually, the idea of boundaries is seen as a constricting and immovable line - the fixed space between 'them' and 'me'. We think boundaries are restricting, but it is the existence of these boundaries that help us expand and grow.

In this experiential workshop, you are led through a powerful exercise in which you explore your interpersonal boundaries, and through deep awareness, redesign them in a way which feels both freeing and secure. After actively examining your present boundaries, and focusing in on how you feel within them, you are led on a journey of experimentation, culminating in the establishment of fluid boundaries which deeply resonate with your heart-needs.

Labyrinth

An ancient symbol, the labyrinth is a sacred place to know oneself. It has a meandering path that is designed to lead you to the center. It helps to grow in oneself, has meditative qualities that can still the mind, open the heart, ground the body, get centered. Unlike a maze which has obstructions and blind ends, the labyrinth supports you in your growth journey- no matter how slow or fast you go, you will always reach the center. You can ask for guidance and receive answers.

In this workshop, you will be guided to traverse the labyrinth with a question or an intention in your mind; to accept your parental gifts and to explore ancestral patterns. You will be given inputs to journey the labyrinth in different ways to enhance your growth and well-being.

The Journey of Feelings is a dynamic workshop that enables adults and children to embrace transformative tools they can use in their daily lives through a board game.

Multistoried Workshop

Stories are a natural part of our everyday lives. We grow up with stories. They are narrated to us by our parents, teachers and friends. Stories also reach us through books and movies. In the telling of stories, we share our world with others and reinforce our beliefs. They also help us remember our past, our loved ones, cherished memories and so much more. Details and substories that lie interwoven within the main story come into awareness.

The more we narrate them, the more emotionally connected we become. These stories then take a life of their own, and can sometimes replace real memories and become the scripts we unconsciously live by.

In MultiStoried, we explore these scripts, and through a unique process of modified renarration, free ourselves from their hold, while still retaining the ability to narrate.The facilitator leads the participants through a structured process of re-telling the story, until an organic shift occurs.

Monthly Zodiac Sign Series

Our newest addition to the services we provide. Each zodiac sign is known for particular dominant traits. Scorpios are passionate, Librans are charming, Saggitarians are spontaneous, and so on. In these workshops, we explore a dominant characteristic of the sign of the month and pair it with its opposing shadow trait. The intention is to integrate both parts to derive from their unique strengths and find a middle path that honours both qualities.

Teenagehood – The stage in everyone’s life which is as exciting as it is challenging. Awareness-Integration-Expansion (AIE) Model

A three-phase online and in-person training programme to teach the concept and power of forgiveness and train workshop leaders to conduct the “Forgiveness: Path to Freedom workshop”.

The term, ‘Forgive’ is from a Greek root word that means “to set free”. Forgiveness is a life-long journey of healing deep layers within. It leads to growth, transformation and freedom.

The Awareness–Integration–Expansion (AIE) model of forgiveness is a multimodal approach. It is an outcome of decades of counselling experience and draws from multiple theories and modalities. It aims to decrease feelings of revenge, increase feelings of benevolence, experience a state of forgiveness, and improve well-being.

This framework is geared to uncover emotions and beliefs, shift perspectives, unblock energy and encourage responsibility for one’s life.

Exercises to experience the concepts of Awareness, Integration and Expansion are inter-woven throughout. Awareness is integral to begin the process of change. After several awareness exercises, participants are led to do release and integration work, starting with simple exercises and moving into intense, powerful release and integration. Integration generates emotional and experiential change. This is a natural opening to expansion of self, both within and in feelings towards others.

Benefits: The AIE Forgiveness model creates a realistic view of self, the other and outside reality. Emotions are uncovered, defences addressed. Learnings from experiences are assimilated. Ideas are reframed leading to perceptual shift and belief change, closing repetitive patterns. Finally, connecting to the self leads to well-being, acceptance and harmony in one’s life.
